Alan Christianson is a New York Times Bestselling Author and a Phoenix, Arizona-based Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) who specializes in natural endocrinology with a focus on thyroid disorders. He is the author of the Adrenal Reset Diet, the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Thyroid Disease, and Healing Hashimoto’s – a Savvy Patient’s Guide.
Dr. Christianson was a member of the premier class of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) graduating in 1996. He has been actively practicing in Scottsdale ever since. Dr. Christianson is the founding president of the SCNM alumni organization and continues to be an active board member. He is also the founding president and is currently the acting president of the Endocrine Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
SARAH LOBISCO, ND, is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM). She is licensed in Vermont as a naturopathic doctor and holds a Bachelor of Psychology from State University of New York at Geneseo. Dr. LoBisco speaks professionally on integrative medical topics, has several journal publications, and is a candidate for postdoctoral certification in functional medicine. She has been involved in natural wellness for over fifteen years and for the past seven years provided wellness consultations at a clinic in Ballston Spa, NY.
Currently, Dr. LoBisco has discontinued her private naturopathic work to take the position of Director of Clinical Education for Designs for Health. Dr. LoBisco has a true love of learning and is an avid researcher. She enjoys writing and sharing her findings in her recent blogs about living holistically in our complex world. Her focus is on functional and naturopathic medicine topics and applications of herbs, supplements, essential oils, and nutraceuticals. Her book, BreakFree Medicine, is set for release this upcoming year.
