Date:  Wednesday,  October 4, 2017

Time:  8pm EST (5pm PST)

Summary:

In this webinar, Dr. Kalish will discuss how damaged mitochondria can lead to a hypometabolic state and how to identify this issue with breakthrough discoveries found using organic acids tests.

Organic acid testing is a way to measure whether your patient is getting and using nutrients to drive optimal health. Nutrients are protecting agents. Just as a car has additives and devices that protect it, nutrients serve to protect the heart, brain and other critical organs. Like a car’s gauges warn of potential problems, the body has certain chemical indicators, known as organic acids, that can alert you to potential problems. Also measured are markers that assess intestinal health, neurotransmitter activity and detoxification demands. Early warnings can help you guide your patients to make diet and lifestyle changes that may both extend and enhance their quality of life.

Dr. Kalish will also review the connection between low thyroid function and mitochondrial health to help resolve difficult cases of weight loss resistance. Repairing mitochondria is not enough; learn to stimulate growth of new mitochondrial for those with a hypometabolic pattern.

In this webinar, Dr. Daniel Kalish will help you understand:

  • Adrenal and thyroid issues arise together, so their triggers are identical and their solutions overlap
  • Autoimmune thyroid is the most frequent (up to 90% of hypothyroid cases)
  • Thyroid problems typically are an indication look deeper for underlying cause in stress response, GI tract or liver toxicity

He has trained practitioners from Dr. Mercola’s medical staff to Mayo Clinic physicians in Kalish Method functional medicine protocols.

Dr. Kalish received his B.A. in Physiological Psychology & Philosophy from Antioch College in Ohio and completed his Chiropractic degree in California. He also studied at the University of London and conducted research with biochemist Dr. Robin Monroe at Cambridge University. His studies led him to mentoring with renowned psychiatrist Dr. R.D. Lang utilizing drug-free treatments for schizophrenics.

More recently, Dr. Kalish proudly served as an advisor to the Honorable Patrick Kennedy and participated in the first One Mind For Research conference held in Boston in 2011 where 200 of the nation’s top neuroscientists gathered to form a unified front to promote research on brain disorders.

He is the author of two books, “The Kalish Method: Healing the Body Mapping the Mind” and “Your Guide to Healthy Hormones” and is a frequently requested speaker for health summits across the United States.
