Linda Lizotte, cofounder of Designs for Health, is a nationally known nutritionist and speaker. As a nutritionist, she maintained a busy private practice for 15 years, successfully counseling thousands of clients and treating a wide range of health issues including obesity, adrenal burnout, blood sugar problems, and toxic metal overload. Linda has been an expert guest on numerous radio and television programs, and has contributed to several health magazines and nutrition books.
Dr. David M. Brady has 25-years of experience as an integrative medicine practitioner and over 21 years in health sciences academia. He is a licensed naturopathic medical physician in Connecticut and Vermont, a board certified clinical nutritionist, and completed his initial clinical training as a doctor of chiropractic in 1991. He currently serves as the Vice President for Health Sciences, Director of the Human Nutrition Institute, and Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. He maintains a private practice, Whole Body Medicine, in Fairfield, CT. Dr. Brady is also an expert consultant to the professional nutraceutical & nutritional supplement and clinical medical laboratory industries, serving as Chief Medical Officer for Designs for Health, Inc. and Diagnostic Solutions Labs, LLC. He is an internationally sought-after presenter on nutritional, functional and integrative medicine. He has appeared on the speaking panel of some of the largest and most prestigious conferences in the field including; IFM, ACAM, A4M, IHS, AANP and many more. Dr. Brady has published a multitude of peer-reviewed scientific papers and textbooks related to chronic pain, autoimmunity and functional gastroenterology and is a featured contributing author in the medical textbooks; Advancing Medicine with Food and Nutrients-2nd Ed. Gina Fasser assists healthcare providers with technical aspects and clinical applications of
the Designs for Health product line. This includes providing information pertaining to
product usage and answering questions about specific ingredients, manufacturing, and protocols. Gina has nearly 20 years of experience in the supplement industry as a Clinical
Specialist for a nutritional supplement distribution company, and as a Production Supervisor
for an herbal supplement company. Gina is currently attending University of Bridgeport to
attain her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition. Gina's undergraduate degrees are in
Psychology and Sociology from Westfield State University.
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Nicolosi is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Nicolosi has held positions and appointments at prestigious institutions including Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School, the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA, and the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. His major research areas include pharmaceutical and nutraceutical interventions for the treatment and prevention of hypercholesterolemia, cardiovascular disease, age-related macular degeneration, obesity/diabetes and cancer and nanoemulsion technology as it relates to the delivery of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals. He has approximately 200 publications in these areas.
Andy Casagranda is a Certified Nutritionist, having completed his training with American Health Science University (formerly N.I.N.E.) in Aurora, Colorado. Andy has over 17 years of experience in the dietary supplement industry.
Dr. LePine is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Integrative Functional Medicine. Additionally, he has advanced clinical training through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. LePine has a private practice located in Lenox, Massachusetts in the Berkshires. The focus in his practice is to help patients achieve optimal health by balancing nutritional biochemistry in the body and to teach people how to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Dr. LePine is also the clinical medical director for Metametrix Laboratories and teaches seminars to physicians on the clinical application of advanced biochemical laboratory testing.
Dr. Alan Weiss serves as the Medical Director of Annapolis Integrative Medicine, and has practiced medicine for over 15 years. Dr. Weiss holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Virginia and earned his medical degree from McGill University, completing his internship in integrative medicine at the University of Hawaii and his residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth's Hospital of Boston. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. In the practice of medicine, Dr. Weiss uses an individualized patient-based approach, employing the best of conventional and natural medicine. He has particular interest in working with people dealing with complex or chronic medical issues, including but not limited to fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, hormone imbalance, and obesity.
Dr. Weiss is married and has two sons, lives in Annapolis MD, and spends his free time reading, running, practicing yoga and riding his boat on the Chesapeake Bay.
Dr. Weiss is also a senior Program Leader with Landmark Education, having led transformational developmental programs around the world.
Dr. Houston is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Director of the Hypertension Institute at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Vanderbilt Medical School, completed his Internal Medicine Training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and served as Chief Resident in Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Houston is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM), Hypertension (ASH Specialist in Clinical Hypertension), and Anti-Aging Medicine (ABAAM). He also holds a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Human Nutrition. Having published over 170 medical articles, abstracts, book chapters, and monographs, his recent best-selling books include What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Hypertension, Handbook of Hypertension for Students and Clinicians, and Vascular Biology for Clinicians. Dr. Houston specializes in hypertension, hyperlipidemia, preventive cardiology, human nutrition, and anti-aging medicine.
DAs a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator, Rebecca Murray has over 30 years of experience in the field of diabetes management and the prevention of medical complications associated with diabetes and obesity. She has particular expertise in the area of women's health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), with the goal of achieving optimal hormonal balance and quality of life. Ms. Murray is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing at Yale University School of Nursing (adjunct faculty), and speaks nationally on the subject of metabolic syndrome and the chronic health problems associated with obesity and insulin resistance. She also maintains a private practice focusing on the use of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for the prevention and treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic health problems.

Mark Peldyak received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University in 1980. Since then, he has been in private practice dentistry, and also works with the Mobile Dentists in-school program. As a member of the University of Michigan research group (1986-1992), Dr. Peldyak investigated the use of sucrose substitutes for caries prevention. He is also a cofounder of the Academy of Dental Resources, which is known for their innovative dental prevention and continuing education programs. Dr. Peldyak is the author of Sweet Smart (Alternative Sweeteners), Advanced Developments, Inc., 1996.
Cristiana Paul is a product development consultant for Designs for Health. Cristiana is relied upon for her contributions to the design and continuous improvement of Designs for Health nutritional supplements, Sitomedica medical foods and support for clinical questions. She provides extensive research reviews for nutritional supplement tech sheets and scientific dossiers for medical foods.
She holds a Masters in Nutrition Science from Cal Poly Pomona in California, and has 17 years of experience in nutrition research and clinical practice. She is a contributor to the 2012 edition of Textbook of Natural Medicine (edited by Joseph Pizzorno). She has written the chapter review on Vitamin K and all of its three forms: K1, K2 and K3 and contributed to the chapter review on Fish oils.
Camille Gallinger is a Certified Nutritionist with post-graduate training in clinical nutrition from American Health Sciences University and the American Association of Nutrition Consultants (AANC). She is also a Certified Herbalist, having studied at the former Center for Herbal Studies in Corvallis, OR. As a member of the Nutrition Support Team, Camille serves as a writer and nutrition health educator, training Designs for Health customer service representatives. She supports comprehensive recovery by sharing her passion for the principles of nutrition through comprehensive functional/metabolic testing and specific supplement recommendations. Camille also maintains a private nutrition counseling practice, educating both patient groups and medical professionals.
Michael Jurgelewicz, DC, DACBN, DCBCN, has been studying nutrition and wellness for the past 10 years. He has a B.S. degree in Health & Wellness, a B.S. degree in Anatomy, and is a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is Board Certified in Nutrition by the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, and a Diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition. He is also active in continuing education through the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board. Dr. Jurgelewicz’s academic training and clinical experience in functional medicine position him as an authority in the management of a variety of chronic health conditions.

SARAH LOBISCO, ND, is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM). She is licensed in Vermont as a naturopathic doctor and holds a Bachelor of Psychology from State University of New York at Geneseo. Dr. LoBisco speaks professionally on integrative medical topics, has several journal publications, and is a candidate for postdoctoral certification in functional medicine. She has been involved in natural wellness for over fifteen years and for the past seven years provided wellness consultations at a clinic in Ballston Spa, NY. Currently, Dr. LoBisco has discontinued her private naturopathic work to take the position of Director of Clinical Education for Designs for Health. Dr. LoBisco has a true love of learning and is an avid researcher. She enjoys writing and sharing her findings in her recent blogs about living holistically in our complex world. Her focus is on functional and naturopathic medicine topics and applications of herbs, supplements, essential oils, and nutraceuticals. Her book, BreakFree Medicine, is set for release this upcoming year.
