He is a licensed naturopathic medical physician in Connecticut and Vermont, a board certified clinical nutritionist, and completed his initial clinical training as a doctor of chiropractic in 1991. He currently serves as the Vice President for Health Sciences, Director of the Human Nutrition Institute, and Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. He maintains a private practice, Whole Body Medicine, in Fairfield, CT. Dr. Brady is also an expert consultant to the professional nutraceutical & nutritional supplement and clinical medical laboratory industries, serving as Chief Medical Officer for Designs for Health, Inc. and Diagnostic Solutions Labs, LLC. He is an internationally sought-after presenter on nutritional, functional and integrative medicine. Gina has nearly 20 years of experience in the supplement industry as a Clinical Specialist for a nutritional supplement distribution company, and as a Production Supervisor for an herbal supplement company. Gina is currently attending University of Bridgeport to attain her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition. Gina's undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Sociology from Westfield State University.

Dr. Nicolosi is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Nicolosi has held positions and appointments at prestigious institutions including Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School, the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA, and the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. His major research areas include pharmaceutical and nutraceutical interventions for the treatment and prevention of hypercholesterolemia, cardiovascular disease, age-related macular degeneration, obesity/diabetes and cancer and nanoemulsion technology as it relates to the delivery of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals. He has approximately 200 publications in these areas.

Dr. Todd LePine graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Integrative Functional Medicine. Additionally, he has advanced clinical training through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. LePine is a staff physician along with Dr. Mark Hyman at The UltraWellness Center located in Lenox, Massachusetts in the Berkshires. Prior to joining the UltraWellness Center, Dr. LePine worked as a staff physician at Canyon Ranch Health Spa in Lenox, Massachusetts, consulting with patients from around the world who were seeking optimal health. He is a faculty member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and teaches seminars to physicians on the clinical application of advanced nutritional and biochemical laboratory testing. DAs a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator, Rebecca Murray has over 30 years of experience in the field of diabetes management and the prevention of medical complications associated with diabetes and obesity. She has particular expertise in the area of women's health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), with the goal of achieving optimal hormonal balance and quality of life. Ms. Murray is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing at Yale University School of Nursing (adjunct faculty), and speaks nationally on the subject of metabolic syndrome and the chronic health problems associated with obesity and insulin resistance. She also maintains a private practice focusing on the use of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for the prevention and treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic health problems.

Cristiana Paul is a product development consultant for Designs for Health. Cristiana is relied upon for her contributions to the design and continuous improvement of Designs for Health nutritional supplements, Sitomedica medical foods and support for clinical questions. She provides extensive research reviews for nutritional supplement tech sheets and scientific dossiers for medical foods.


She holds a Masters in Nutrition Science from Cal Poly Pomona in California, and has 17 years of experience in nutrition research and clinical practice. She is a contributor to the 2012 edition of Textbook of Natural Medicine (edited by Joseph Pizzorno). She has written the chapter review on Vitamin K and all of its three forms: K1, K2 and K3 and contributed to the chapter review on Fish oils.

Camille Gallinger, CN

Camille Gallinger is a Certified Nutritionist with post-graduate training in clinical nutrition from American Health Sciences University and the American Association of Nutrition Consultants (AANC). She is also a Certified Herbalist, having studied at the former Center for Herbal Studies in Corvallis, OR. As a member of the Nutrition Support Team, Camille serves as a writer and nutrition health educator, training Designs for Health customer service representatives. She supports comprehensive recovery by sharing her passion for the principles of nutrition through comprehensive functional/metabolic testing and specific supplement recommendations. Camille also maintains a private nutrition counseling practice, educating both patient groups and medical professionals.

Mark Menolascino, MD

Dr. Mark Menolascino has over 30 years of health care experience. He completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Internal Medicine Specialist Training with Banner Health in Arizona. Unique among physicians, he has four board certifications including Internal Medicine Specialist, Integrative Holistic Medicine, Advanced Hormone Management and Anti-Aging Medicine, and is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.

Dr. Menolascino additionally has a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology/Immunology focusing on Psychoneuroimmunology of dementia and mood disorders, was a doctoral candidate in the Medical Scientist Program assisting with Clinical Trials of new medications as well as part of the Heart Disease Reversal Team with Dr. Dean Ornish. Daniel Kalish, DC

Dr. Daniel Kalish is founder of the Kalish Institute, an online training program dedicated to building Functional Medicine practices. Since 2006, the Kalish Institute has helped develop practice models for over 1,000 practitioners worldwide.

In 2017, Dr. Kalish partnered with the Institute for Functional Medicine to create My Practice Plan, an online training program. The course curriculum centers around the development of business skills to assist doctors with practice implementation. Dr. Kalish also leads an online mentorship program in Functional Medicine that emphasizes clinical application and program design skills.

Dr. Kalish received his B.A. in physiology and psychology from Antioch College and completed his chiropractic degree at Life West. He studied at the University of London and conducted research with biochemist Dr. Robin Monroe at Cambridge University. His educational pursuits led him to mentoring with renowned psychiatrist R.D. Lang, as well as John R. Lee, M.D., a pioneer in the use of progesterone. More recently, Dr. Kalish proudly served as an advisor to the Honorable Patrick Kennedy and participated in the first One Mind For Research Conference where 200 of the nation's top neuroscientists gathered to promote research on brain disorders.

Dr. Kalish spent two years in formal monastic training in Asia. He studied at a Zen monastery in Japan under Zen Master Harada Roshi and also lived in a forest monastery in Thailand practicing mindfulness meditation techniques and transcribing Buddhist texts for Vipassana Master Achan Buddhadasa.

Dr. Nancy O’Hara, MD

Dr. Nancy O’Hara is a board certified Pediatrician. Prior to her medical career, Dr. O’Hara taught children with autism. She graduated with highest honors from Bryn Mawr College and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. After residency, chief residency and general pediatric fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. O’ Hara entered general private practice in 1993, and in 1998 began her consultative, integrative practice solely for children with special needs. Since 1999 she has dedicated her practice to the integrative and holistic care of children with neurodevelopment disorders, ADHD, PANDAS/PANS, OCD, Lyme and Autistic Spectrum Disorder at the Center for Integrative Health, where she is a partner. She is also a leader in the training of clinicians, both in the United States and abroad.

Rebecca Murray is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience as a nurse practitioner and over 20 years in functional medicine specializing in endocrinology and women’s health. She completed her BS in nursing from Columbia University and her Master’s degree in primary health care from the University of Rhode Island. She was an assistant clinical professor of nursing at Yale University for 21 years and medical director for CT Holistic and Integrative Medicine in Groton, CT for 15 years before moving to FL. She has now joined the functional medicine endocrine practice with Dr. Edwin Lee at the Institute for Hormonal Balance in Orlando, FL. She has been a practitioner training consultant for Designs for Health, Inc. since 2005 and enjoys lecturing at functional medicine conferences both nationally and internationally on women’s health and the functional medicine approach to evaluating and treating endocrine disorders.

Dennis Goodman, MD, FACP, FACC, FCCP, ABIHM

Dennis Goodman, MD, is Director of Integrative Medicine at New York University, where he also serves as Clinical Professor of Medicine and Cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology and Preventative Medicine. He is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, lipidology (cholesterol management), critical care, interventional cardiology, cardiac CT imaging, and integrative medicine. Dr. Goodman graduated cum laude with distinction from the University of Cape Town Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa.

Dr. Goodman completed his Internal Medicine residency and was Chief Medical Resident at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. A sought-after national and international speaker, he has been a visiting teaching professor throughout South Africa, Asia, and Europe, and has published many research articles in addition to three books on heart health, including Magnesium, Omega 3s and Vitamin K2. Chris D’Adamo, Ph.D.

Dr. Chris D’Adamo is a nutritional research scientist with expertise in nutritional supplements and natural products. He received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is currently an Assistant Professor with dual appointments in the Department of Family & Community Medicine and the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health. Dr. D’Adamo serves as the Director of Research at the Center for Integrative Medicine and holds faculty positions in the Gerontology Doctoral Program of the University of Maryland and at Maryland University of Integrative Health, where he was involved in creating the Nutrition and Integrative Health graduate program.

Michael Jurgelewicz, DC, DACBN, DCBCN, has been studying nutrition and wellness for the past 10 years. He has a B.S. degree in Health & Wellness, a B.S. degree in Anatomy, and is a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is Board Certified in Nutrition by the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, and a Diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition. He is also active in continuing education through the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board. Dr. Jurgelewicz’s academic training and clinical experience in functional medicine position him as an authority in the management of a variety of chronic health conditions.

Sarah LoBisco, ND

SARAH LOBISCO, ND, is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM). She is licensed in Vermont as a naturopathic doctor and holds a Bachelor of Psychology from State University of New York at Geneseo. Dr. LoBisco speaks professionally on integrative medical topics, has several journal publications, and is a candidate for postdoctoral certification in functional medicine. She has been involved in natural wellness for over fifteen years and for the past seven years provided wellness consultations at a clinic in Ballston Spa, NY.

Currently, Dr. LoBisco has discontinued her private naturopathic work to take the position of Director of Clinical Education for Designs for Health. Dr. LoBisco has a true love of learning and is an avid researcher. She enjoys writing and sharing her findings in her recent blogs about living holistically in our complex world. Her focus is on functional and naturopathic medicine topics and applications of herbs, supplements, essential oils, and nutraceuticals. Her book, BreakFree Medicine, is set for release this upcoming year.
