DAs a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator, Rebecca Murray has over 30 years of experience in the field of diabetes management and the prevention of medical complications associated with diabetes and obesity. She has particular expertise in the area of women's health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), with the goal of achieving optimal hormonal balance and quality of life. Ms. Murray is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing at Yale University School of Nursing (adjunct faculty), and speaks nationally on the subject of metabolic syndrome and the chronic health problems associated with obesity and insulin resistance. She also maintains a private practice focusing on the use of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for the prevention and treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic health problems. |
