Dr. Mark Menolascino has over 30 years of health care experience. He completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Internal Medicine Specialist Training with Banner Health in Arizona. Unique among physicians, he has four board certifications including Internal Medicine Specialist, Integrative Holistic Medicine, Advanced Hormone Management and Anti-Aging Medicine, and is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.

Dr. Menolascino additionally has a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology/Immunology focusing on Psychoneuroimmunology of dementia and mood disorders, was a doctoral candidate in the Medical Scientist Program assisting with Clinical Trials of new medications as well as part of the Heart Disease Reversal Team with Dr. Dean Ornish. His traditional medical training is complemented by advanced training and clinical experience in Nutrition and Naturopathic Medicine, Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture, Ayurvedic Medicine and Homeopathy as well as extensive continuing education with over 3,000 continuing education hours in Integrative Medicine including Cognitive Decline Reversal protocols, advanced Cardiovascular Therapies and Heart Disease Prevention, Medical Nutritional Therapy, Male and Female Hormone Bioidentical Therapy including advanced Thyroid and Adrenal Function, Detoxification, and Cancer Prevention. His focus is on reducing the inflammatory processes of chronic illness, dementia, cardiovascular disease and balancing the hormone symphony through nutritional protocols.

Dr. Menolascino is a former professional athlete with over 10 years experience as a personal trainer, strength coach for the Husker Power Program as well as a corporate wellness consultant. He has developed a highly effective functional medicine approach to help his patients achieve optimal vitality and solve complex health issues by applying his diverse training to the unique physiology of the individual through optimal nutrition, reducing inflammation, optimizing detoxification and supporting hormone balance.
