A synergistic blend of vitamins K1, K2, and GG
Both forms of vitamin K are important for health. Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) is predominantly found in leafy green vegetables, while vitamin K2 refers to a group of menaquinones (MK forms), including MK-4, which is found in pastured eggs, grass-fed butter, meat, and certain cheeses. Vitamin K1 supports normal blood clotting, while vitamin K2 (as MK-4) is involved in healthy calcium utilization, directing it to the bones and teeth.* GG supports vitamin K status by serving as a building block for the body’s natural production of MK-4, providing comprehensive support for vitamin K activity.*

What This Product Is
Tri-K is a synergistic blend of vitamins K1 and K2, along with geranylgeraniol (GG), that work together to promote optimal delivery of vitamin K2 (as MK-4) to tissues supporting normal blood clotting, bone mineralization, and arterial elasticity. Each 2-softgel serving provides 4,000 mcg of vitamin K1 (as phytonadione), 1,000 mcg of vitamin K2 (as menaquinone-4 [MK-4]), and 35 mg GG-Gold® (a patented form of GG) to support vitamin K status in the body.*
Both forms of vitamin K are important to our health. Vitamin K1 is the naturally occurring form found predominantly in leafy green vegetables, whereas vitamin K2 (as MK-4) is found in pastured eggs, grass-fed butter, meat, and some cheeses. Vitamin K1 is essential for normal blood clotting, and much of vitamin K1 is converted to vitamin K2 in the body. Vitamin K2 (as MK-4) activates a protein that binds newly absorbed calcium and helps to integrate it into the bones and teeth, while at the same time it may help discourage calcium deposition in the arteries.*
Mechanism of Action
Vitamin K1 and K2 for Bone and Cardiovascular Health*
Vitamin K1 (4,000 mcg as phytonadione) supports normal blood clotting and serves as a precursor for K2 conversion. Vitamin K2 (1,000 mcg as MK-4) activates osteocalcin, a protein that binds newly absorbed calcium and integrates it into bones and teeth, while activating matrix Gla protein that may help discourage calcium deposition in the arteries. This dual action supports both bone mineralization and cardiovascular health.*
GG-Gold® Geranylgeraniol for Vitamin K2 Support
GG-Gold® (35 mg) is a patented form of geranylgeraniol (GG) that supports the conversion of oral vitamin K1 and vitamin K2 (as MK-4) to stored vitamin K2, as GG is a building block of vitamin K2. This three-pathway approach to vitamin K — K1, K2, and GG — provides comprehensive support for vitamin K status and the critical processes it supports in the body.* The softgel delivery enhances absorption and bioavailability of these fat-soluble nutrients.
Applications
- Individuals at risk of bone loss, bone fracture, or arterial stiffness*
- Those seeking comprehensive vitamin K support for bone mineralization*
- Individuals wanting cardiovascular support through proper calcium distribution*
- Those taking medications that may increase demand for vitamin K*
- Individuals seeking a multi-pronged vitamin K formula with K1, K2, and GG*

Product Questions
Why does Tri-K include geranylgeraniol (GG) along with vitamins K1 and K2?
Geranylgeraniol (GG) is a building block of vitamin K2. By including GG-Gold® alongside K1 and K2, Tri-K supports three pathways to vitamin K: direct K1 supplementation, direct K2 (MK-4) supplementation, and the body's ability to convert and store vitamin K2 using GG as a precursor. This multi-pronged approach provides more comprehensive vitamin K status support than K1 or K2 supplementation alone.*
How does vitamin K2 support both bone and cardiovascular health?
Vitamin K2 (as MK-4) activates two key proteins. Osteocalcin binds newly absorbed calcium and helps integrate it into bones and teeth for bone mineralization. Matrix Gla protein helps discourage calcium deposition in the arteries for cardiovascular health.* This dual action ensures calcium goes where it is needed (bones) while helping prevent it from accumulating where it is not (arteries).
Who may benefit most from Tri-K?
Individuals at risk of bone loss or bone fracture seeking comprehensive bone mineralization support, those concerned with arterial stiffness and cardiovascular health, people taking certain medications that may increase demand for vitamin K, and anyone seeking a multi-pronged vitamin K formula that provides K1, K2, and the K2 building block geranylgeraniol for optimal vitamin K status.*
